About Sellable Data Checker
A desk that reads AI data buyers' own pages and records, question by question, what each says it takes and how it treats a seller's records.
Why we built this
Each buyer describes its asks in its own words on its own pages, so a company comparing them has to read every one; we read them once and keep the sentences.
Who will find it useful
Owners, directors and operations leads of companies whose CRM, support, HR or document history might be licensable to an AI developer.
What it offers
The core is one question, "how to sell data to ai companies", and a checker that needs no login. Around it sit 3 guides. There is also a citable data table (figures and method) and the pages we read to build it.
- How AI companies license data: hand-over, exclusivity and payment: How AI data buyers say a licence works on their own pages: how the data is handed over, whether the licence is exclusive and how sellers are paid.
- What data AI labs license from companies, in the buyers' words: The data types AI buyers name on their own pages, from CRM and support records to code, books and video, with what each says about personal data.
- How much do AI companies pay for data? What buyers say about payment: How much do AI companies pay for data? No buyer on the table publishes an amount; here is how those that say it pay a seller, in their own words.
Things it does not do
- We never say a company's data is legal to sell.
- We never claim a buyer said something its page does not say.
- We never take copies of anyone's records through this site.

No buyer pays to appear on this site. If your company licenses data to a buyer we introduced, our fee is 12.5% of the deal, with a minimum, when we act as exclusive agent for the company, or 10%, with a minimum, when its data joins a bundle or the pool, agreed in writing first; any fee a buyer pays us is credited to the seller.
